Rental Policies

Make Believe, Inc. is located at 3240 Pico Blvd., Santa Monica,
4 blocks west of Bundy (free parking behind the store).

Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00am-6:00pm
               (last rental fittings at 5:30)
             Saturday 10:00am-6:00pm
               (last rental fittings at 5:30pm)
             Sunday 11:00am-5:00pm
               (last rental fittings at 4:30pm)

The costume rental price is for a 48 hour period. Extended rentals must be specified at time of payment.

Costumes may be reserved by paying the rental amount and the refundable security deposit, and then scheduling your pick-up accordingly.

Make Believe Inc. does not hold costumes without payment, nor do we accept partial payment.

Minimum rental is $10.00. All rentals are subject to 8.25% sales tax.

Costume rentals may be paid for by CASH, CHECK, OR CREDIT CARD.We accept MASTER CARD, VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, AND DISCOVER.

A refundable security deposit is required for all costume rentals. This can be paid by CASH OR CREDIT CARD. NO CHECKS. The cash amount will be noted on the rental contract.

There are NO REFUNDS for cancelled costumes.

There is a $15.00 exchange fee, when possible.

All costumes must be returned on time. There will be a $10.00 late fee, per day, per costume. Costumes damaged, lost or soiled beyond reasonable wear, will be subject to repair/replacement costs.
